Love Exchanges

Know that there is always an instant love exchange at a soul level through a smile, a simple “hello”, the act of holding a door open, letting someone go first in line, mailing a card, listening to someone’s concerns, being present with someone, being supportive, etc. These exchanges are love in action and impact not only on the recipient of your kindness, thoughtfulness, and compassion but other people these individuals encounter. Simple yet very thoughtful acts can create a ripple effect of more kindness passed along to others by the good feelings and goodwill they create. Consciously choose to leave a trail of love wherever you go.

You will not always hear “thank you” or receive praise for your love based efforts. However, do not look for it and do not be discouraged by a lack of recognition. Just know that your reward is in the fact that you are doing GOD’s work in the world.  Love exchanges strengthen your personal and spiritual alignment with your soul and with GOD.

LIFE LESSON

When you perform loving acts, keep your intentions pure. Do not look for validation from others. When you do so, you become subservient to your ego which feeds on this kind of acknowledgement. Give love from the heart without expecting anything in return.
