Lord,
I spend too much time thinking about the next day, the next week, next year. Stop me, please, and fix my attention on today, this day. What are my attitudes like today? Are my words lifting others up or beating them down? Have I taken the opportunity to help someone? Have I become a little more like you today? I don't want to put myself on a guilt trip, Lord; I just want to be reminded that today is where life is happening. Help me be ready for the opportunities to love.
